The magnificent venue of Fawsley Hall was a perfect setting for the marriage of Julia and Richard – the tudor mansion is surrounded by 2000 acres of gardens and parkland and has hosted many monarchs down the ages. The weather was a little unkind but it couldn’t possibly have dampened the spirit of this wonderful occasion. The civil wedding was followed by a blessing in the nearby 13th century Church of St Mary the Virgin and then a reception back at Falsely Hall. The blustery, cold weather meant most of the photographs took place indoors although a respite later in the day meant a few formal photographs of the newly wed couple were achieved in the gardens. Julia’s cousin from the USA, Brian, flew in to give her away and Richard’s daughter, Holly, was a beautiful flower girl alongside Amber, daughter of the the Groom’s brother Jonathan who in turn, was the Best Man.
