The gloriously English venue of Leez Priory, a Tudor mansion set in Essex, was the host of a beautiful wedding between Jack and Sarah who had travelled back from Geneva to be married. The weather was a little grey and rainy to start with but as the day progressed, the sun greeted the bridal party with all the glory of a traditional English early Spring period.
Sarah and her bridesmaids all looked absolutely stunning and having had time to enjoy the bridal preparations with the odd glass of champagne, any evidence of nerves soon gave way allowing them all to thoroughly enjoy the day.
After the ceremony, guests were able to enjoy the splendid backdrop of the Tudor building while canapés were served at the inner lawned courtyard. The Wedding Breakfast was set in a characterful outbuilding; fantastic food and humorous speeches by Jack’s three best men completed the formal part of the day before the serious partying began.
This day also marked the second birthday of Sarah and Jack’s son, Harry – so of course, much fuss was duly given by all to the little man!
What an honour it was to be asked to be the photographer; a special day indeed!
